Filters - Filters - Filters
Upgrade to an Aprilaire High Efficiency Air Cleaner, the Cadillac of residential air filters. This filter uses a HEPA-type filtering media and attaches to your existing HVAC system. For particles larger than 5 microns (a micron is 1/25,400th inch) the Aprilaire High Efficiency Air Cleaner is 99% efficient. Particles as small as 1 micron can be filtered out at 95% efficiency.
Try our 1 inch, multi-pleated 6-month filter. It has more actual pleats than other local 3-month filters. This increases the surface area, increasing the efficiency and increasing the time between filter changes. Over time, you save time and money by installing fewer filters. They are more durable in construction and catch much smaller particles than your standard fiberglass "dollar" filter. If you were to shake salt on your filter, would it fall right through? Ours catches salt and much smaller airborne dust and mold spores. Salt is about 200 microns whereas molds and pollen are 10 - 50 microns. Our pleated filter catches everything 10 microns and larger.
